DOMA

The Defense of Marriage Act violates the "Full Faith and Credit" clause of the Constitution (meaning that marriages/contracts in one state apply to all others). A Federal judge recognized that fact by calling DOMA unconstitutional and setting it up for Supreme Court review.

This is basically setting up DOMA to become the LGBT communitties "Heller and McDonald" decisions.

I expect the Supreme Court to simply affirm his ruling by refusing to review the case. This will go away quietly instead of being a 5-4 nailbiter.

That would be nice, unfortunately, with an election nearing, both sides are reaching for bullshit issues that will emotionalize the plebes and take attention off real issues like escalating debt, open ended foreign wars, sinecure for incompetent doctors (a/k/a: Obamacare) &c.
Ex: A conservative site on FB is beating the flag-burning dead horse again!

Cool, if all marriage licenses, drivers licenses etc have to be honored by other states, that would have to include my license for conceled carry, Right?

I would agree with you idahohunter except your hunting license only authorizes you to hunt in your own state...

Can't win every one, but we can sure try.
